How to Flip Zoom and Engage Your Team

Are you Zoom’ed out?  Are you excited to spend another day in training online? It is time to focus on the person, their time, energy, and interest matter more than the time in their seat. In this session, we will examine ways to maximize group training by “flipping” the content model.  The basis of this model is to use time outside of the live, or synchronous, class to introduce new materials ranging from text, videos, and interactive lessons, and to use the time in the live class to begin the deeper dive into the content focusing on problem-solving group exercises, small group interactions, and group discussions.

As we work and learn remotely, the ability to utilize group time effectively and efficiently is vital. Instead of having the first contact with content be a lecture via Zoom, this model changes the focus and creates a platform that allows learners to interact with instructors and peers to practice, apply, and synthesize the content in the context of their mutual working experience. This webinar will focus on how to integrate the flipped model into the learning path an organization uses to develop and train employees.  The session will begin by reviewing the basics of the model and ways developers can utilize existing content to create a meaningful experience before a live Zoom session.

In this session we will examine and discuss six techniques to consider using to engage and promote peer learning while meeting the business and performance needs of the individual.

Attendees will learn:

  • To define the flipped model of learning.
  • 3 learning modes that can be asynchronous.
  • 3 learning modes that can be synchronous.
  • 6 techniques to apply for effective peer learning.

Who should attend:

  • Leaders and managers
  • Independent consultants
  • Learning & development professionals
